Found a sub $800 price and bit the bullet. Love these. The over the top branding, the A in the netting, the pink pops. Quality looks and feels A1. Just wish I could get the matching T shirt.

honestly these look designed by a teenager with a corrupt copy of mspaint and sold on taobao.

I don’t get the extra hate people say about this shoe.
I understand people saying I don’t feel these. These look like racer blue Vs or carolina blue Vs. Pass.
But then they add, These are super ugly and flea market looking.
It’s really not that bad in person. If it bothers someone so much they could customize their pairs to make it look subtle or something. Or is it people think Awake is an unpopular clothing brand.

just from my POV, i've never heard of the brand Awake so i am indifferent to them. The quality may be amazing, i don't know. what they did to that tongue and netting simply does not do it for me. in my subjective opinion, they have butchered two iconic elements of the shoe.
so yeah, this really to me looks like a flea market fugazzi shoe. but that should not in any way impact on what you enjoy. there aint no wrong answers with taste... mostly

They are hella cheap on eBay rn too, I literally can get one now for over $100 less than what I paid for mine and I'm kinda salty but still worth the $350 I paid, I guess ...
