its Asian sizing, all the adidas shirt you get from China, Japan, Korea even Australia, has the collar tag like this.
it is 100% legit.

Are sleeve sponsors for this upcoming thing now mandatory on all jerseys? I cannot find any Madrid 2026 jerseys without that awful giant HP sleeve sponsor. Maybe it's just an adidas issue or?

Those are part of the jersey so yes. It's the patches like UCL or their respective league's sleeve logos are what's optional. It's those rare cases of a situation like Chelsea where they have no front sponsor so get them asap before they do get a front sponsor (or while supplies last)

Found myself near MetLife during the Club World Cup and I’m back into the game.
I am just getting back into kits since being a kid. Had the USA 2016 away most recently but the fit wasn’t the best. I’m going to size up. Overall I’ve just been educating myself on legit checking. I look to get an Inter Miami Messi authentic, a NY Red Bulls and just USMNT for now.

essentially its a replica and authentic/ on-field version
authentic/ on-field version is more of an athletic fitting and has " better dri-fit " and slightly different detailing
. also tend to cost about $75 more
also, you should size up if getting the authentic soccer jersey

Fan editions are more durable than the player edition. The logos are embroidered. Whereas the player edition they try to save weight for performance gains so the logos are heat pressed
