copped my first pair today since it was on sale... I was planning to make them beaters and wear everyday to work aka just driving shoes and wearing to my desk and changing to wallabees but they look too nice to beat plus I heard the sole wears out and is not as comfortable after a while

For me they've stayed plenty comfortable.

The problem is the FREAKIN SQUEAKIN

These things are loud as hell on a hard floor

That's stopping me from buying any more pairs, no matter how cheap they get. And it's the soles, not the insoles.

That's not my issue. They don't squeak and they still feel comfy after walking for hours on end. I don't even wear any other shoes except for these 24/7, inside and outside the house and in bed. The only issue for me is they stink. Whenever I take them off to go in the shower they smell horrid. Like the kind of smell that'll kill plants

The insole is not the problem. Already tried to do the baby powder thing.

It's the sole itself. Shoe isn't wet, though it happens then too. It's like the loudest most obnoxious squeak possible, on hard floors. Doesn't happen on carpets or rugs.

Anybody else figured out a way to fix this??

I'll try that. I do walk outside in them a couple days a week and they were fine for months, but I'll see if some concrete helps, thanks

Too steelers for me but I'm glad to see somebody get those. Also thanks brucefan74 I just drug my feet when walking outdoors a couple days and the squeak has gone down about 50%. It was cartoonishly loud before
