I enjoy Big Picture pod here and there. But Sean does have some bad takes and often is of the belief a movie is trash or has no redeeming qualities when its clearly a popular movie.

Disagreed. That one is pretty good.
Shaq was great. We all know. But most folks would feel he left some meat on the bone. He didn't play every game/season as hard, free throws, he'd be lazy during series etc.
He didn't push himself like other elites did. (And he easily could have)
Crowe had a dominant run too, but did he have a Cruise/Harrison Ford/Will/Denzel/DeNiro type run? Lil meat on the bone, no?

I'm going to stand by it being a terrible comparison and making no sense.
Shaq was at one point the most dominant player in the game. They changed rules in the game cuz of him. He is one of the greatest centers to play the game.
Russell Crowe was NEVER that dominant. NEVER. Not to mention they equated one Oscar win and a few years of good to great movies to Shaq's championship run. Shaq's career didn't start in LA. He was dominant before and managed to take the Magic to the finals.
The nerve to say Shaq didn't push himself. Go back and look at his stats or better yet rewatch some games
Then they got the nerve to say his time in Miami was Crowe in The Good Guys. The insult to Crowe as if his career is over or something.
It doesn't matter how many times you say "lil meat on the bone" and hold on to that
It's a really bad nonsensical comparison to me.

I think it’s a flawed comparison, it basically boils down to this person’s prime was 1995-2007 (in terms of American Gangster, for the Russell Crowe performance, which is my favorite by him).
To me, that’s the reason it’s boiled down to that’s where Bill faulted explaining it.

Like Nice Guys is an outlier, a godsend, for a past-his-prime Crowe, whose prime was almost a decade before that.
