Maybe the material, I noticed the Black Toe is stiff as all get out, these don’t feel as stiff.

UPS might have lost or stolen my pair from JD. I requested a hold to a UPS store because I wasn’t going to be home. For some reason they sent it to a post office and now it has an exception saying it was sent to the wrong post office and they are correcting it.

When you get the cheapest or free shipping option places like JD use shipping methods called surepost, groundsaver or something along those lines where they have it set where shipping companies like ups or fedex pick up the package but then they transfer it over to the post office to deliver it to the final destination. It’s annoying because it takes longer and you can face potential delivery delays but I don’t usually have any problems with this ship method. I think once or twice my items were delayed and I thought they were lost but I eventually got them. Just pay attention to the tracking for the next few days, if they in fact used one of the shipping methods I listed you should be able to find an alternate tracking number on your ups tracking and you would just put that one in the usps website to track your package and its delivery status.

They seem dark enough for me. I have mink oil, but I don't think they need it.

I got my pair yesterday finally when a USPS Informed Delivery tracking number showed up 2 days later.
However, I pay for the UPS My Choice which allows me to upgrade to ground and redirect for holds for free.
They accepted my hold request before it even arrived in my city. They didn't honor the holder request before they decided to send it to the post office from some reason.

My pair seems pretty clean. A couple of spots from laying in the box I should be able to rub out but my pair looks fine to me.

My pair came in. They're def ashy but I don't feel they're as ashy as I thought they would be. Also, did they change the sizing on 14's recently? I remember I had the 2011 Last Shots and those were a little more narrow and pretty snug by the toes in my tts while these have a bit more toe room tts and a bit more wide around the toebox

Just hoop in these , way better than the previous retros . Pretty close to the 05 retro for cushion and grip , pause .

My oxidized green 2016 and my last shot 2018 have a good sizing and are comfortable in the toe box but the black toe 2024, even if the sizing is good, they are pinky toe killer almost my right foot. It is just terrible.

Well at least they got the unc blue right , I cant capture how they actually look in person with my camera.
make no mistake about it the quality on these is absolute trash, definitely a gamble blind buying them, best to see them in hand 1st. Should of only dropped via the outlet 25% off out the gate, Im saying Fk a B grade, these are a C- minus at best tbh.
If you get a pair like either of mine ,Youll be having to do manicure work on these straight out the box . Only reason mine are semi decent is because I had to do suede work with a foil shaver , then take a suede brush ,& brush the hell out of them.

Just a suggestion. Do any of you brush the nap of the suede to enhance the look? I always brush the suede on my mid to low nap suede sneakers. They in fact look a lot better when I do.
