Crazy / fun times
I miss those pre-pandemic days of sneaker collecting. Yeezy and Adidas (via Boost as well) were really lighting a fire under Nike/JB (New Balance was as well, to a lesser extent at the time). I remember being blown away when I got my 1st pair of Waves in 2018. Nike Outlets were also not complete garbage across the board and deals were far easier to find (with significantly lower retail prices as well).I worked all the 350 releases in the middle of the Yeezy prime days. It was truly ridiculous. My college years. Good times
Yeah sneaker hoarding in the hypebeast era was something else lolthose days were bad for my mental health and my wallet.
Retail prices are a lot higher nowadays. I remember you could get SB Dunks on sale for like $50 and GR retros for like $100-$130 one Oneness sales, etc. Even eBay had far better discounts back then. Also, nowadays, shipping costs have also gone through the roof and don't even get me started on having to pay insane tariffs/customs, etc. for any stores you buy from internationally. It's probably worse now I would think.
700 V2s weren't milked to death lolAdidas Yeezy era was dope, until they milked the F out of all of the models after the 350v1.
