I bought a couple pairs when it popped up on Twitter!
I had just bought an Adidas pair last week off Stockx for my daughter for $160. They were a little big, so sending those back, and I’ll wait the few months to see how these are in person. All cheap materials anyway and still Yeezy.

Shipment arrived today from 8/10 order! Shipment notice came same day as it arrived
8 for Daughter, 12 for Me!

Question for anyone who ordered slides in August. Anybody still get their slides without an email confirmation? It wasn't in my spam and also was charged on August 11th but still nothing

Got in black slides. I can confirm they are just as comfy and well crafted as the adidas Yeezy slides. Also - they sent mine with cardboard inserts to keep their shape during shipping. Super happy with my purchase, even though it took like 5 months to arrive.

i dunno mayne... these drops kind of dispel the myth that kanye was the greatest designer and had all these awesome ideas at adidas and nike and everything is kanye inspired

Kanye had a good team of designers around him for Nike and Adidas. He might have had an idea but the talent around him probably refined it.
Not sure anybody who is notable would want to work with him now.

Yeah tbf he also gave ppl credit where credit is due. Hell, if you have a pair of Air Yeezy 2s, on the inside all the initials of the designers who worked on that pair are listed (including Virgil, IIRC).
It’s also pretty common knowledge that Salehe worked on the 750s and Steven Smith worked on a lot of the adidas line including the 700s and Foamrunners.
Ye def wasn’t designing this stuff himself and I do think his losing so much of his design talent (as a result of his actions over the past couple of years) seems to have killed the brand in many ways. Ironically, the same seems to have happened with his music as well.
