This is exactly what it isOr a twist on the actual comic Brand New Day.
I figured you were talking about the video game. It’s really the only place that kind of relationship has been depicted as status quo.I mean, I wasn't talking about no Batman Beyond type stuff with an old, washed up Hero teaching a young buck. Something like how it played out in the last videogame. Pete can still be in his prime while showing Miles the ropes and being the Spidey guy to interact with the Young Avengers.
And Sony is NOT even capable of making one good Spidey, so I won't entertain the thought that they can have two of them going on at the same time, independently, from each other![]()
In the comics, it happens every now and then for limited series but it’s not a thing since Spider-Man lives a hectic life not meant for mentoring. He’s suppose to learn and fail on his own which is what Miles and Peter still do. Made more sense in comics when they find mentors in other (older) heroes like when Tony was sort of a mentor to Peter and Black Panther was sort of that for Miles.
To me it’d make more sense if they were much closer in age and just teamed up as teen Spider-Men but that boat has sailed.
Sony just too incompetent. All those terrible villain movies they made could’ve been saved if you just debut a Spider-Man for that universe. Would give fans something to look forward to. I’m wondering if part of the Marvel deal is that they can’t cuz they had no problem making bad Spidey movies before that.
