Anecdotally I’ve heard that some RB’s aren’t a big fan of the pistol because the QB often times blocks their view of things happening pre play.

Yes. His mom and my mom are good friends. He use to run around my yard as a kid all the time. His mom and Flo-Rida are good friends too. He was heavily affiliated with youth football down here in South Florida with Uncle Luke. Cam was one of his first youngins’

Honestly IMO I think Simpson is the more talented guy. The problem is that he’s got a lot of work to do before even getting close to his ceiling and the NFL is not a league that is willing to be patient with young QB’s anymore. It’s why he should have taken the money and came back to school.

Mendoza has a much higher floor but realistically I think his ceiling is Matt Ryan who was a good player but if I’m picking at one I want a guy who I think could be in the HOF one day.

For the Jets I think this is where I’ve landed.

If he’s there’s in the 2nd round, **** it draft Ty Simpson. Take a swing, hope he’s a diamond in the rough or that he gets time to develop and maybe you luck into Matt Ryan/Kirk Cousins.

I don’t think there will be patience to wait it through for 2-3 seasons if that’s the case but meh.
