I had to pass I didn’t expect it to be this egregious, I consider my 06 to be straight beaters, so for them to be this much darker is crazy.

Even the laces are lighter so it’s clearly intentional.

Went to the mall today and every pair had glue stains or black scratches on the blue parts. They brought out multiple of the same size and they were all the same. Very ashy too. Might just skip out on these.

Mine weren't ashy like everyone is saying.

These are suede and not nubuck anyway. I don't think a lot of people recognize the differences in materials and are just following the sentiment online.

I think if people go to stores they'll probably find them. I looked at the sheet and there were quite a bit of people who didn't pick them up. Probably because of no resell. It was only a couple of people waiting outside the store for unclaimed pairs.

For 10's and 14's they've seemed to make the right amount. If you want them, you can get them. That was the case for the 10's and 14's.

I doubt they go on sale, if that's what you expect by them needing to raise numbers.

My bro and I both copped our pairs at Sheikhs Shoes at the mall before noon. Zero hassle and we still got to pick mix n' match the best pairs without glue stains, paint errors or messed up boxes

Yeah, they're ashy like I remember BUT......the quality of the uppers is more premium than the 06 pair I had and that's for damn sure. Still, some fabric dye will be used in the near future.

My nephew got his pair this morning as well however it was a surprise pickup by his mom so he didn't get to scoop in person. Dude woke up to a Jordan box on his bed, lol.

Today was a good day
Now on to the metallic white 5's.

Don't use mink oil. Use suede dye since that is what this retro version uses for the upper.

I was skeptical at first too, the black toes def ain’t too comfy, but these ashy ones are alot more comfy if you ask me.
