Those comparison pics almost made me pass on these, then then the ashy suede is just terrible….i had the 06 pair back in the day these definitely didn’t have the ash…..wondering will mink oil fix it

These look good to me... I can't really remember my 06 pair on the ashyness.. I just remember me buying the last shots a month before this I think and walking to get the UNCs.. I really wasn't tripping on ash hahaIm cool with these. Do i wish they were less ashy compared to my 06’s that i loved? Sure. But these aren’t high enough on my list of beloved jordans list to be in an uproar about lol

Been using mink oil for years, it’s had no negative long term effects on any suede or Nubuck shoe I used it on. However I don’t use it excessively, just every once in a while.I don’t know if using mink oil on suede is such a good idea for the long term.
