I was there end of Jan into first week+ of February... and some days were coooooooooold. I'm from CO, so I'm used to it and part of that trip was a snowboarding trip - and there were still times I was cold in Tokyo / Kyoto.

I was in the Caribbean in early December and man it was nice to switch up the weather. Went on a cruise and stopped at St. Lucia, St. Kitts, St. John’s, Tortola and St. Thomas. Went to the beach every day.

Any thoughts on the Virgin Islands? Maybe more specifically the US Virgin islands as I want to take my parents somewhere and they are definitely not getting passports.

I can’t tell you much since I was there for a few hours. Prices are similar to the states and you and can use your cellular service since it is in US territory. Weather was really nice! Sorry I don’t have much to give.

it was in the low/mid 60's' during the day and low 50's at night
pretty cold but not freezing ( depends on how you handle the cold)
i either wore a hoody or layered up with a flannel and light jacket and jeans
wore a hat most of the days but i did opt for a beanie one of the nights.
you can always buy cold gear like base layer longsleeves or gloves at uniqlo there

Wife and I want to hit Japan in May but are limited to 8-9 days and not sure that’s enough. If we decide not to do that, looking for somewhere else in June with decent weather. How are Italy/france/spain during that time?
