In retrospect, it looks better with shorts if you lace'em up all the way to the last eyelid. I saw the pic and said the same thing. That unfinished tongue doesn't really curve with the top of your ankle like normal. It just kinda lays there very flat. I did later on and it looked better but I didn't bother taking another pic.
