Broke out the rays for 8 miles today. Probably the last time I wear them. Tore my arches up with some nasty blisters. Not to mention I tripped and fell mile 6 because of a raised side walk

I'm curious about the Ray but the awful looking durability and lack of stability kinda scares me away. FWIW, I ran a half marathon PR in the Edge Tokyo last week and it was incredible. The FF Leap in the forefoot gave the response I wanted while the firmer FF Turbo in the heel made it stable enough over 13.1. Might be worth looking into if the Ray caused you issues.

Tried out the Glycerin Flex tonight for the first time, I enjoyed them but it’s definitely a unique ride/experience. I’ve spent so much time in rockered/plated shoes that my feet were not accustomed to having to do this much work! This will be great as a training tool. After a few miles my brain started to rewire how I had to run in such a flexible shoe and came away enjoying the amount of control I had. Almost like driving a manual transmission.
