SO I GOT BANNED FOR NOT TIPPING LOL

If she paid for the meal how is she broke?
I waited tables all my 20's before I got job doing what I do now (Legal and Medical Interpreter). If you go out to eat at a sit down restaurant, where you get waited on, drink refills, appetizers that get picked up and new silverware brought out and then you get you entrees, etc. You should be ready to pay for that service. Now if the service sucks by all means complain and even say so so they know why you are tipping low or nothing at all. But if service is good or even exceptional then tip no less than 20%.

No. That's not how it works.

Service is your job. Literally. If you agreed to be paid 50 cents an hour that's on you not the customer to make up for that. You should always be doing your job well and if you suck at it you should be fired. If you don't like it smarten up and form a union or quit and get a job that pays you a living wage.

It's crazy in this capitalist society, this kind of socialism is allowed and encouraged.

Are we tipping on catering orders?

I usually pick up the catering orders when I buy lunch for my team and give the worker $20 cash regardless of the total bill, but with this being the end of the month + a holiday, I won't have time to leave the office. I'm having it delivered and tipping 20%. There's a delivery charge of $25 and a tax on that delivery charge. So, all in, it's coming out to $686.59. And this doesn't include setup.

Now, I'm going to expense this, so it's no sweat off my back. Just wanted thoughts on tipping for catering.

just finesse the #'s like you always been doing.

just a personal dilemma I have here.

I take my puppy to get groomed by the breeder we bought him from every two months. Since he’s the breeder and he does it himself I just pay him what his rate is and don’t tip him because he makes 100% profit from it. My girl thinks I’m being a cheap *** by not giving him a tip when I pay and I’m like man **** that why am I tipping him for. He’s not employing anyone and he gets 100% of the pay. (Breeder also lives in a mansion 3 times the size of the house I’m living in as well so I think he is just fine without the tip. )
