i don't like to be distracted by anything while listening to vinyl part of the experience for me is to be fully immersed in the sound trying to hear every detail of the music i wouldn't hear if listening to digital music. the reason why i invested in mid-fi equipment within my means. other wise when listening to digital i like surfing the web.

way more vinyl had to get a new stand. Technics SLQ-300, with ortofon stylus, Polk audio speakers with built in sub woofers. Full Technics receiver,tape deck,cd player and equalizer

Didn’t make it out during RSD but was able to find Pilot Talk II online for retail. Sounded like The Minstrel Show was in high demand so just decided to pay a $20 resale premium now versus trying to find in-store while resell prices shoot up more. I’ll still dig for that Thievery Corporation when I have time.

. PT2 makes me want to invest in a hifi system. Prime Spitta over Ski Beatz on vinyl is just a different experience.
Same with reading the LB insert while letting the record play. Seeing how many people from Roc-a-Fella helped them out to legends like DJ Jazzy Jeff and others.
Still trying to be very selective with my record pickups. But the extras tidbits you get from record inserts and covers are cool to read.
