Idk, I tend to agree with the idea that the less cws the better when it comes to these (and a lot of other models for that matter). When I was catching up on this thread, I was reading posts making the argument that they shouldn't make a second cw, then when the news hit about the navy's there was disagreement with that cw (and there are people that still don't rock with it). I thought that idea of no more cws after the pines was selfish because the ones saying it for the most part were the ones who already had at least one pair. I felt that more cws would give people more opportunity to grab a pair. Then I was able to get the navy's and felt like the pine green crowd :lol:

Then I thought about other colors -red (which I'm not a fan of), then thought about what if they even expanded on that (yellow, purple, orange etc - you know Nike don't know where to stop at times). I agree that this particular collab should stick to the keep it simple route. The coIorblocking is just what it needs and shouldn't be tweaked imo. Objectively, I think adding more cws would diminish the collab.

I know some folks derive pleasure from knowing they can have something somebody else can't have. I get it.

But I just don't care. I don't drive down the street and see my car in another color and think it's diminishing my ability to enjoy my own car :lol:

The point I was trying to make wasn't about "exclusivity" with a particular shoe. I'm not that guy, and I think exclusivity is overrated. I more meant adding more colors would oversaturate the collab with unnecessary colors (see AJ 1). I agree with you, I don't care if I see someone else with the same pair, they are popular shoes, of course people are going to like them.

I gotcha. Like it looks good and worked well with the first two colorways, don't just throw every possible color at it and come up with some trash.

The SB mold is more comfortable and wearable than the regular 4s.

I would have been fine with the SB version getting most of the 4 colorways going forward

I really don't give a **** about there being too many colorways. If I don't like them, I'm not gonna buy them

I get zero utility from there have less pairs of colorways of a shoe. I this whole argument about it cheapen the collab seems week to me.

JB needs to stop relying on hype and nostalgia and make their shoes more wearable

The damn RMs are way more comfortable that regular 4s.

they were. but the de minimus exemption (goods under $800) which the current admin removed, hasn't been reinstated so the import fees that would impact us when buying sneakers from overseas are still in place.

Collabs should be special

Special meaning you can’t find every colorway on the rainbow.

SB4’s perfect, maybe one two more colorways and chill.

If you want a million colorways or the same colorway remixed 100 times , go get some Travis lows or A Ma Maniers

Yeah tariffs are a specific duty and have nothing to do with the import duties on goods. That said, tariffs are still in place. They just expire in 6 months before another fake “emergency” reason is created to extend them. So you’re still looking at a 13.5% tariff from Japan, more from other Asian countries. So you get hit with both the import duty and a tariff. It’s averaging about 20% of the total sale price from Japan.
