Fun crossword today, especially if you're familiar with a famous movie critic's scathing reviews of terrible movies. Finished in 9:20 (I'm not an expert lol).

Nah, I don’t think so - it was frustrating.
Wordle just has the formula - it’s just enough to be a challenge but not too much.

Just enough of a brain exercise to slightly stimulate but not so much where I need to put on a pot of coffee and rack my brain like I’m solving string theory.

Pips is process of elimination. There's always one domino that HAS to go somewhere, and you can figure it out immediately. It's fairly simple from there, even on the hard level. Honestly, they could make it more difficult.
What is annoying about Wordle is that they've wisened up regarding the most common opening guess being "ADIEU". Those vowels are just never in their spot, or not used at all sometimes.

The Thursday crossword is a crime sometimes. I can do Friday/Saturday/Sunday no problem, but the stupid Thursday puzzle can buzz right off. If I can't get the clue within ten minutes, I'm done.
