if you had 6 months to live how would you change?

They "changes" I would make knowing I have 6 months to live would be "changes" one would make knowing they have limited time left. Im going to the bank, falsifying documents to get a loan for a 911. Hell, might even co-sign for someone, then I'm quitting my job and using my 401k money to drive said 911 to as many track days as possible. I can't do any of that now.

I would spend all my time with my family and take them places I always said I would later.
I would catch up with all my old friends and extended family I haven’t seen enough.
I would start writing letters to my children and wife so they can read these letters and hopefully find some solace when they feel sad or miss me. I would also like to make a photobook for the fam.

No reason I can’t do any of this now and writing and creating photo book sounds cathartic and I should
start. I don’t do it now cause I’m so caught up in the daily hustle and bustle of life. I’m saving all my money for their future so extravagant vacations doesn’t seem practical right now.

Dump 401kand tsp

take half and dump in a well researched stock for a leap call option, give that beneficiary account to my lil bro.

Take the other half and hit the port, get on someones boat doing whatever kind of work for three months in the ocean

Come back with a scraggily beard and live in a 911 at the beach. Not too grand

This is almost the same exact plan i have if my portfolio jumps

Living like I'm checking out in half a year doesn't make practical sense.

I suppose the "live every day like it's your last" folks would disagree, but that sentiment can't withstand the reality test if taken literally.

The quality of my life would suffer immensely if I lived one day past my expiration date with no resources left over, and 5 new foreign wives.

Imagine going back to work after telling those folks you quit or trying to get your money back from family members.

Me trying to explain when they're reading my last will and testament:

you would live in sin in your final days? and make your loved ones responsible for your debt? this is just shocking man
Sin?!? Nothing about modern capitalism is holy. We, people made all that **** up. Think about it bro, how you gonna settle your debts before you die in a place crash? I pretty much guarantee the original message behind the bible verse you’re thinking about has nothing to do with money. They added that **** because they know you can’t collect from a dead person. I can’t believe they really got folks thinking theirs a credit requirement to get into heaven.
