Reviewing Automatically watch threads you create and when you reply

Is it possible to split this option? I would like to automatically follow the threads I create, but I would like to have to option to follow a thread if I replied to it. Actually, most of those options that combines stuff like that should be two separate ones IMO.

Hi there, I'm afraid we don't have the ability to split this option as it's built into the core software. However, we did create a My Activity area for you so you can follow the threads you replied to, your Watched Threads, and your posts: https://niketalk.com/forums/activity

I think the best solution here is to set your settings as default as "do not follow threads with email notifications" then when you manually follow them (and elect email notifications), it should produce the result you were looking for. Cheers!

That sounds good. Would you be able to tell me where that option is? I'm having trouble locating it.

Click the 3 horizontal lines at the top left to open up the menu. "My Activity" is the third option.

You can then change that list to show you threads you started, threads you posted in...
