Lived in the DMV my whole life and I still havent tried it. Is it worth the trip or nah?
There seems to be mixed reviews for this place.

I'd say go to the U Street location just to check it out for its history. Food itself isn't bad but nothing I wake up craving.

Half smoke is bomb. The chili itself isn't that great though. I usually go after a show at U st. Music hall.
